In Seattle, an 84 year old woman and a pregnant woman were pepper sprayed. The Police department’s response was that pepper spray was not age discriminatory and that it effects people of all ages the same way (The Mayor of the city has since apologized). New York City has completely removed the encampment at Zucatti Park drawing criticism for Mayor Bloomberg.
Silvio Berlusconi resigned as Italy’s President amid the country’s pending financial crisis. Many Italians are rejoicing. The financial world is trembling.
