I don’t know if you saw this web extra, but Nate was on Rachel’s show and apparently he had to buy a tie at the last minute. Well the tie was so ugly that they had to remove it right before Nate was going live. Hilarity ensued. See video here:
In other news, I’d like to welcome Abigail Jean Pugh into the world. She is the daughter of my best friend and was born last night. I lobbied hard for the middle name of Lynn since Abby Lynn had a nice ring to it. But her Father’s middle name is Lynn, Her mother’s middle name is Lynn and her Grandmother’s middle name is Lynn so there was a preponderance of Lynn already in place. Jean is her Grandmother’s first name. So I guess that will do.
My friend is a little worried. He’s 47 and already has an adult child. This is a little late in the game for guys our age. He’s also a conservative. He worked with Sean Hannity back in the radio days. That we’ve remained friends is a testament to our mutual loyalty. Hopefully, I can get him to contribute an article or two to the website.
I just heard Abigail screaming over the phone. It was a lovely, musical sound. I can already tell she’s going to be a force to be dealt with. Welcome to the world, little one.
I have been teaching human development the last few days and this sort of thing does nothing to diminish the sense of wonder and miracle I feel when I see a perfect human life emerge fully formed from the womb.
So that’s why Nate looked like crap er looked soooo casual last nite lol and his hair was mussed ..btw, let the record show I suggested 3/4 mos. ago w/Nate moving on up to the east side that he lose the glasses and start wearing contacts …Another Nate/Harpo separated at birth pic.
congratulations to your friend.
Aw give Nate a break. Geeks generally do not know how to dress themselves. Networks have departments for that.
Nicolle Wallace, former communication chief for Bush, was on Real Time w/Bill Maher and said, Obama’s approval ratings will go up 15 pts. in the first (6) months if Reps take over the House …Again, the yin and yang of politics.
