Sundays bring us the political talk shows. Unsurprisingly, this week is dominated by last weekend’s shooting of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D-AZ). This Week (ABC) — Christiane Amanpour hosts a town hall meeting in Tucson with some of those touched by the shooting and its aftermath.
Face the Nation (CBS) — Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) and Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY), who were with Giffords in her hospital room on Wednesday when she opened eyes for the first time after she was severely wounded. Also Rep. Jeff Flake (R-AZ), former New York Republican Mayor Rudy Giuliani and outgoing Pennsylvania Democratic Governor Ed Rendell.
