Sundays bring us the political talk shows. If you see something interesting on one of them, jump on the comment board and talk about it. Unsurprisingly, Egypt dominates the shows this week. According to Politico, here is the lineup for this week’s shows:

Tim Pawlenty (Image via Wikipedia)

This Week (ABC) — Ehud Barak, Israeli Defense Minister, discusses the future of Egypt now that Mubarak is gone. Christiane Amanpour continues to host from Egypt, from where she will interview former Minnesota governor Tim Pawlenty and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, both of whom are running for President. Fox News Sunday — The upcoming budget will be covered from the right, with Paul Ryan (R-WI), the House Budget Committee Chairman. And, straight from In This Corner…Haley Barbour sells himself as an upcoming candidate for President.

Candy Crowley now grilling White House budget director Jacob Lew. I love this woman.
Am I the only one that was once an avid viewer of the Sunday shows that now rarely bothers turning them on?
Crowley is grilling an administration type…..ok go for it now when will some one grill the Rebublicans about their magic budget to no where. Oh I see Ryan is on Fox that should clear the air……….think I will sort fishing tackle or build a new table saw stand…..both of much greater value than what now passes for tough interviews.
Tea Party Republican freshman Schilling in MTP, when asked directly about what needed to be done with entitlements to help cut the deficits, first spouted TPer talking points about policy, when asked again, WOULD NOT give any specifics, just “Everything should be on the table”. That’s the kind of leadership we can expect?
More of the same: pissing and moaning, but no real answers put on the table for debate.
Boehner is such a broken record. Cut spending, cut spending.
What spending?
You know…spending.
He’s big on message, just not on specifics.

Yes, I can hardly wait to comment on it. It’s a really well-done, thought-provoking piece.
Looking forward to that, Mr. U.
OK, now I’m a little nervous… Don’t go too hard on me tomorrow, folks.
😉
Mr. U,
