A new AP-GfK poll out today shows President Obama’s overall approval rating at a new high of 60%. His standing has improved across the board including on such hot issues as the economy. Backing up these numbers was also in indication that more Americans feel the country is moving in the right direction – up 10 points since March to 45%. Nothing like kicking a little terrorist butt to lift a nation’s spirits.
