Obviously the big news of the week that displaced the Republican 2012 race was the debt ceiling conflict in Washington, D.C.
Former Louisiana Governor Buddy Roemer finally officially entered the race. He joins the ‘I know I can’t win but I’m running anyway’ tier of the race.
Michele Bachmann gets criticized for her history of migraines. Her doctor issues her a hall pass and her critics receive criticism for bringing it up.
Ohio held a straw poll. Romney won by a pretty decent margin with everyone else a fairly evenly dispersed second place including write in Rick Perry. Jon Huntsman finished dead last.
Otherwise, all quiet on the campaign front.
