(Red Right Returning, a nautical mnemonic for the side of the buoy or marker on which to pilot a ship in order to stay in the channel, is a look back at the activity of the past week of the Republican candidates in the 2012 primary. Feel free to voice your opinions on the candidates in the comment section.)
Well the political landscape got more defined this week. Sarah Palin and Chris Christie made their final rejections for the Presidential bid. That means the field is pretty much locked in. Now it’s only a matter of mopping up the leftovers. Who will drop out next? And who will their supporters back?
There is another debate next week but we’ve pretty much seen this rerun.
Herman Cain is going on a book tour. Wait, haven’t we seen this before? Oh yeah, Sarah Palin. Does anyone else get the impression that most of the Republican candidates are in this this to promote themselves? It’s almost as if everyone recognizes the futility of running against Obama but is milking it for all the free publicity they can get. Hmmmm…
