Never been a fan of MSNBC’s Martin Bashir. He used to interject a lot religious overtones on ABC’s Nightline that I didn’t agree with. But lately I’ve been warming up to his commentary. He still makes an occasional religious reference but I can respect that. More often than not, he really nails the truth, at times uncomfortably, in his comments. Here is a great example:
Here’s another one where Bashir quotes an economist whom I also used to eschew, Jeffrey Sachs:
I’ll have to cut Mr. Bashir a little more slack in the future.
